Queretaro is in the heart of Mexico, just two hours from the capital city, Mexico City. This location, coupled with an excellent road network and one of the best bus terminals in Latin America, allows visitors to easily connect to the north and south of Mexico. In addition, the Queretaro airport has daily flights to Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Houston.

 

The attractions of the city include various art and history museums, the famous Casa de la Corregidora (baroque inspired churches), Cerro de las Campanas (the final destination of the Emperor Maximilian of Hamburg), Theatre of the Republic (the birthplace of the Constitution that governs Mexico), the arches of the aqueduct, gardens and squares with live music, cafes and restaurants, an auditorium for almost 5 thousand spectators, a World Cup Soccer stadium, several shopping malls, cinema complexes and there is also a great nightlife for everyone.


Queretaro is proud to be one of the cleanest cities in Mexico and the second safest. It has a strong economic and labor sector, aided by its geographical location. The city hosts several large corporate companies, which were attracted to the city because of its industrial and research parks and its international airport.

 

The climate is mild, with average temperatures ranging between 22ºC and 25ºC (72 and 77ºF).

The Queretaro Campus, is located in the center of the Bajio district which is a strategic area for the industrial and commercial life of the country. Founded on August 14, 1975, the campus now offers 17 programs, in addition to the Preparatory Program and the Bicultural School.


The Queretaro Campus has 7 buildings of classrooms, multiple laboratories, computer centre, an experimental farm, excellent sporting facilities and the largest library in the State of Queretaro.

This campus is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), in addition to possessing the Certification Council for Accreditation of Engineering Education (CACE I), the International Certification CISCO Systems and recognition of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Residences

Our mission is to provide students with a safe, comfortable and pleasant place to live, which promotes values such as discipline, responsibility, friendship and respect.


The Residential building is located within the campus and has 80 rooms in single or double occupancy, divided into two sections: male and female.


The Residences offer the highest level of service and it is hoped that the environment allows you to enjoy your student life to the fullest.
